This position focuses on optimizing logistics operations, sourcing competitive freight solutions, and managing external warehouses. By analyzing transportation routes and identifying synergies, the coordinator aims to enhance delivery performance and cost savings while adhering to company policies and upholding high standards of ethical conduct and safety.**Experience**: 3-5 years of experience in logistics or transportation, with expertise in routeoptimization and carrier management.**Skills**:- Strong analytical skills for optimizing routes and identifying cost-savingopportunities.- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.- Proficiency in logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word,Excel, Outlook).- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with variousstakeholders.- Commitment to safety standards and ethical practices.- Languages: English**Key Responsibilities**- Freight Sourcing and Negotiation: Identify and secure cost-effective freight solutions through market analysis and negotiation, aiming to reduce transportation costs and maximize value.- Route Optimization: Analyze and coordinate transportation routes to optimize backhauls and improve overall route effectiveness, ensuring timely delivery of products across facilities.- Compliance and Ethical Standards: Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements. Maintain high ethical standards in all transportation activities.- External Warehouse Management: Oversee relationships with external warehouses, ensuring contract compliance, monitoring usage, and managing negotiations and closures.- Coordination and Issue Resolution: Assist in coordinating logistics among facilities and resolving delivery challenges to enhance service levels and address any issues impacting timely product delivery.- Continuous Improvement: Provide updates on key developments and implement improvements to transportation processes, contributing to better overall delivery performance and operational effectiveness.
