You will ensure compliance with accounting principles, assist in financial reporting, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the company's financial objectives. This position requires strong attention to detail, solid analytical skills, and a fundamental understanding of accounting principles and practices.**The Quest**:- _ General _Accounting_ _and_ Financial _Operations_:_- Record and reconcile financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.- Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and financial statement preparation.- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation.- _ Financial _Reporting_ _and_ _Analysis_:_- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.- Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations.- Prepare financial reports and presentations for management.- Assist in the analysis of financial data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.- _ Cost _Accounting_ _and_ _Inventory_ Management:_- Support cost accounting processes, including the calculation of production costs, inventory valuation, and cost of goods sold.- Assist in inventory management, including tracking and reconciling periodic physical inventory counts.- Process and report assets depreciation monthly valuations.- Analyze and report on inventory-related variances and discrepancies.- _ _Accounts_ _Payable_ _and_ _Accounts_ _Receivable_:_- Review and process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy, proper coding, and adherence to company policies.- Prepare and review customer invoices, track receivables, and follow up on overdue payments.- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues.- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve accounts payable and accounts receivable inquiries.- _ _Compliance_ _and_ _Internal_ _Controls_:_- Ensure compliance with accounting principles (NIIF/IFRS) and company policies and procedures.- Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and information.- Assist in the development and maintenance of internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.- _ Cross-_functional_ _Collaboration_:_- Collaborate with other departments, such as finance, production, and legal, to gather and analyze financial information.- Provide financial insights and support to non-financial stakeholders.- Assist in ad-hoc financial projects and assignments as required.**The Skills**:- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
