Middle Office is responsible of ensuring that all trades flow accurately from FO to BO system in a timely manner, always following up the existing segregation of duties included in the control framework for trade lifecycle process, MO support sales and banking through dedicated reconciliation and control monitoring processes.Overall purpose of roleEnsure the correct execution and flow of the daily transactional activity executed by all the different business areas of Barclays in Mexico in order to achieve a high level of service for Internal and External customers. This includes taking ownership of day to day functions and ensuring Operational control requirements are met.Key Accountabilities- Work closely with Trading, Product Control and Market Risk on resolving any queries from internal and external sources.- Actively question and challenge existing practices/ procedures and make improvement suggestions.- Establish high quality control procedure for operational, market or regulatory risk on existing and new flow to ensuring trade capture are complete and clean from front to back by end of day.- Develop a business requirement and brainstorm ideas with a view to improving work flow by compiling all functionality to be implemented with intense collaboration with other Infrastructure Group.Stakeholder Management and LeadershipDecision-making and Problem Solving- Evaluative judgement and analytical skills are fundamental for handling exception, queries from both internal and external clients and strategic projects.
