**Design and release responsible for EDS Connectors****Minimum Requirements**:- 5+ yoe of expeirence in Design and release experience.- Demonstrated outstanding D&R engineering discipline- Strong problem solving skill: 8D BS Engineering degree in EE or ME**Preferred Qualifications**:- High degree of motivation- Outstanding leadership skills- Excellent communication skills- Knowledge on electrified powertrains- 6 Sigma trained (Green Belt Certified)- Cross functional team leadership- Project management**Position Duties**:- Lead design and release high voltage & low voltage connectors to meet requirement.- Work and interface with EDS team and module team on design assumption.- Follow robustness design disciplines such as Boundary diagram, P-diagram, RCL, DFMEA, SCCAF, DVP&R.- Ensure designs meet Ford standards and requirements.- Participate in component design review at milestones.- Sign off component design for the requirement of Quality, Cost, Weight, Functional Targets- Resolve Design Validation failure and develop root-cause, corrective actions, and preventative actions- Identify and develop material cost reduction actions.- Work with purchasing to follow the sourcing strategy- Utilize best design efficiencies for manufacturing, assembly, and failure mode avoidance practices- Drive commonality of designs across multiple programs and platforms- Complete Technical Design Reviews with Technical Leads
