Individuals like you**Logistics Project**Position ID: Worker Category: Tiempo completo, Location: Tepic**Objective of job.**- Provide support in the area by taking part in defining principles and implementing standards- Plan, implement, support and improve complex logistics processes in coordination with Central Logistics Planning- Carry out logistics capacity and resource planning for the relevant plant and report the results to the central planning department- Lead logistics projects and make complex logistics plans in the site or the carline project- Plan, describe, optimize and implement logistics processes according to the best practice approach, economic points of view and according to the logistics planning guidelines**Principle activities**Strategy and Standards:Collect data for the capacity and resource planning of the relevant plantProvide support to specify and optimize internal standards and processes within the own specialized unit (e.g. to compile and implement globally effective standards for logistics planning, for developing and implementing logistics corporate principles and for adapting the whole supply chain at the production plants, for the selection and implementation of IT systems, standard equipment etc.)Observe/identify trends in the specialized unit to work out concepts; recommend actionParticipate in working out site strategies like e.g. making feasibility studies and site examinations from a logistics point of viewParticipate in logistics capacity and resource planning of the relevant plantDevelop and implement action for sustainable logistics supply qualityWork out integral (process) optimization recommendations and ensure implementation by taking organizational and/or EDP actionCompile macro value streams and participate in micro value streams as a planning basisAdapt and optimize the use of standard systems and processes**Planning and Industrial Manufacture**:Plan and implement provision concepts in production in a carline project and/or across the sites per agreement with Central Logistics PlanningMake permanent optimizations of the material flows at the relevant plan for a carline project and/or across the sites per agreement with Central Logistics PlanningLead plant-specific logistics projectsCalculate logistics costs and coordinate them with Central Logistics Planning (e.g. for business plans, etc.)Participate in industrial manufacture workshops per agreement with Central Logistics Planning in order to work out mutual solutions and to optimized cooperation between Logistics and Production.Participate in defining logistics product structures, compiling packaging concepts and industrial manufacture according to the workshop concept- Participate in compiling requirement specifications and selecting logistics services in view of micro-logistics; set up and support logistics functions (e.g. logistics services, like external storage)Set up and check if the emergency concepts are still valid and point out irregularitiesSpecify necessary storage levels and storage options according to standards/guidelines (high rack, marketplace, supermarket, JIS picking, block storage, AULA) and their regular check after changesIdentify, recommend and carry out/check process improvements in the logistics areaContribute to the planning and optimization of timetables, delivery time window, ramp allocation and number of exchange trailersCarrying out packing tests, transport tests and documenting the resultsRecruit and carry out the process of collecting containersPrepare proposals for packaging work instructions for IEFill level optimizations for existing packagingDo spot checks of the actual Truck UtilizationCheck if the ramp utilization requires to adjust the Transport schedule and make proposals to adjust, if neededCheck if actual transport requirements (e.g. departure time / transit time) are matching with original project/transport conceptSupport in establishing a loading plan for trucks**Job requirements**Specialist Knowledge / education:Automotive logistics, material flow planning, lean production, project management, similar field
