This person will be responsible for the following: Exploratory testing, functional testing, executing test cases (via Automation framework or Manual), Python knowledge, Android knowledge, Java knowledge and automation skills.**What you will be doing**:Your typical day as a Toshiba **Software Test Engineer III **will involve:- Review custom software design documents and participate in design review discussions. Review Agile functional specifications.- Create test cases from software design documents.- Execute test cases, report defects and track defect resolutions. Perform automation/API testing using internal and external tools (Postman, Cucumber, etc.). Perform maintenance regression software tests.- Create documentation for various initiatives including test plans, custom installation procedures, process improvements, etc- Communicate status and identify project risks.**Naturally To be successful in this role, you must have and know of**- BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.- 8+ Years’ of experience in full software development life cycle.- Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control and testing- Experience in analyzing, designing, implementing and troubleshooting software solutions for highly transactional systems.- Hands-on testing background- Basic experience in Test Automation- Experience with Agile development methodology.- Responsible, organized and hard working.- HW knowledge & configuration- Solid knowledge of Linux systems (command line, internals, and build process)- Solid knowledge of shell scripting- Solid Java knowledge- Solid Python knowledge- Meeting and adhering to programming standards and practices throughout SDLC.**Preferred Skills**:- Able to follow established guidelines and procedures, and meet deadlines- Proactive- Able to learn not common technologies- Able to manage sudden work priorities changes- Strong communication skills and team player with can-do attitude.- English: Fluent**We offer**:- Career plan and real growth opportunities- Constant training, tutoring, online corporate courses, eLearning and more- Pleasant work environment (game room, nap area, amenities and more).- Flexible work hours and dress code- Hired directly by Toshiba and 100% under payroll- Benefits of the law (IMSS, INFONAVIT, December day voucher, vacation voucher)- Major and Minor medical expenses insurance: Life, major medical expenses with dental and visual coverage.
