Additional required experience includes knowledge across a broad base of external customers and stakeholders, effective cross-functional project team leadership, and generating commitment among stakeholders and deliver effective commercial strategies.**As a Medical Manager you will be responsible for**:- Provide strategic and scientific support to the sales team ensuring the Field Medical Liaison team provides a timely and cost efficient service.- Potentially supervise clinical trials and/or patient safety activities regionally.- Ensure that all work is aligned with AstraZeneca standards and industry regulations.- Handle relationships with healthcare professionals, sales professionals and other partners to develop a better understanding of their information needs and respond accordingly.- Represent the field medical liaisons team at external events.- Provide statistical, medical and scientific consultancy to support key meetings with internal and external partners.- Coordinate and deliver education workshops with the community locally and medical groups as required.**Experience & Expertise required**:- Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine.- Detailed knowledge or experience within the pharmaceutical industry and the area of medical liaisons.- ** Rare Diseases Experience or High Specialty**:- Ability to handle data or requests in a timely manner and
