In alignment with global functions, you will be responsible for the management of the operation including setup and maintenance of production lines, staffing of blue collar in accordance with the demand and driving the continuous improved in productivity and capacity towards achieving World Class Manufacturing value chain. With the applied lean principles, the factory should be a show case for our customers.**Responsibilities**:Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.- To ensure manufacturing and maintenance processes' set-up that assure zero unsafe conditions. Frequent dialogues with local management teams to acquire a safe culture- To support Line of Business agenda by ensuring optimal operational footprint and cost base as well as by delivering upon agreed performance and delivery objectives.- Driving operational footprint as well as Capex projects to meet Line of Business current and future prospects. Cooperate with Global Manufacturing Technology on manufacturing processes standardization across sites as well as on innovation leads in manufacturing technology.- To ensure a continuous improvement culture following DPP guidelines to develop further productivity and equipment efficiency- Alignment with applicable HR and Union functions- Manage organizational objectives and KPI’s to measure and track operational quality, costs, productivity and delivery performance- Developing and deploying an operations learning and training system within the operations to secure best practice and highest quality standards- Creating and maintaining an open communication and knowledge sharing within group of responsibility, peer organization and global organizations- Significantly improve productivity throughout the value stream, driving 5S principals and eliminate wastes and non-core costs- Control over headcount, line staffing requirements and related operational costs reductions.- Plan, justify, procure, and measure results of operational investments. Support product implementation, maintaining tight control over departmental budgets per plan- Overall quality improvement yearly as established at budgeting: Simplify and document processes, Implement RCPS tools and audit tools- Manage the supplier base in regards of delivery, costs and maintain and drive cost down activities across the value stream**Background & Skills**:- Bachelor degree in engineering or comparable degree/experience required- Exemplary leader 5-7 years as a senior manufacturing supervisor or manager in an industrial environment with a group of 20+ people- Experience in Machining, (Torch) Brazing, mechanical assemblies and leak, pressure, and basic electrical testing- Proven organization change/transformation management and required development of personnel and related processes and tools- Application of Lean manufacturing principals and continuous improvement processes- Successful development in multi-cultural and multi-level organization while managing multiple stakeholders- Capable of reaching consensus, and making decisions- Outstanding communicator and listener- Excellent fluency in English- Strong influencing skills- Ability to interact with all levels within the organization**Danfoss - We Engineer a Better Future**:At Danfoss, we are engineering solutions that allow the world to use resources in smarter ways - driving the sustainable transformation of tomorrow.
