**About the Role**We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing cross-border finance team. This position supports our U.S.based accounting operations, focusing on accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and month-end close.**Important**:- You must live within one hour of Mexico City.- Fluent English (written and spoken) is required.- Resumes must be submitted in English.- Applications that do not meet these requirements will not be considered.- While this is primarily a remote role, occasional in-person meetings in Mexico City are required.- The published pay rate represents _gross monthly compensation_.**What You’ll Do**- Process vendor invoices and prepare payment runs (AP).- Create and send invoices to U.S. clients; track collections (AR).- Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.- Record journal entries and assist with month-end close.- Maintain organized, audit-ready financial records.- Support U.S.based finance team with ad hoc reports.- Handle light administrative duties (mail, receipts, vendor forms).**What We’re Looking For**- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.- 2-4 years of accounting experience (preferably international or U.S. company).- Strong skills in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).- Fluent English communication skills — written and verbal.- Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable.- Must reside within one hour of Mexico City.**Nice-to-Have**- Familiarity with Trello, ClickUp, or Notion.- Experience supporting a U.S.based finance team.**Why You’ll Love Working With Us**- Hybrid flexibility with occasional in-person collaboration.- Work closely with a U.S.based team and gain international experience.- Competitive compensation and growth opportunities.- Collaborative, cross-cultural work environment.**How to Apply**:Please submit your résumé in English through Indeed.
