Through our dedicated associates, Conduent delivers mission-critical services and solutions on behalf of Fortune 100 companies and over 500 governments - creating exceptional outcomes for our clients and the millions of people who count on them.- You have an opportunity to personally thrive, make a difference and be part of a culture where individuality is noticed and valued every day.**Procurement Specialist / Country Buyer**:**Job Description/Summary**:- Provide strategic sourcing direction on supplier procurement activities including analyzing market trends, identifying, qualifying, and recommending sources of supply that insure lowest total cost, best service and best quality.Evaluate, draft and negotiate contract terms and conditions.**Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:- Recommend, negotiate, and implement strategic sourcing solutions that align with the organization's goals, objectives, andcore values.- Analyze marketplace research data to help establish current and forecast future market trends.- Develop Request for Proposals (RFP), Requests for Quotes (RFQ), assess results, document recommendations & communicate results to suppliers.- Develop and implement strategic sourcing and pricing agreements with suppliers.- Responsible for bidding and negotiations with suppliers to secure appropriate cost, schedule, quality, payment, and other terms.- Perform comprehensive contract review and evaluation with attention to detail and the ability to identify risks to the company.- Interpret contract requirements and contract change impacts.- Negotiate contractual terms andsuggest viable alternatives during negotiations to lessen the company's risk and maximize benefits to the company.- Perform comprehensive contract review and evaluation with attention to detail and the ability to identify risks to the company.- Work with and communicate effectively with senior management and in-house counsel to solve contractual issues.- Support contract implementation andcontract compliance through established benchmarks.- Close out contracts including finalizing outstanding contract issues.- Work with and communicate effectively with stakeholders, legal, and finance to coordinate contract details.- Support contract implementation with suppliers.- Assist in monitoring and tracking of supplier performance through key performance indicators.- Maintain measurable benchmark metrics for all assigned strategic sourcing and pricing agreements.- Support the procure-to-pay process.- Support training and continuous improvement.- Assist in developing opportunities for strategic sourcing for Country or Region.- Assist and support Global Category Managers with specific needs / strategies for the Country and or region.- Establish a relationship with Conduent partnering suppliers and internal customers.- Assist in developing of global sourcing and outsourcing opportunities for strategic alliances.- Actively search for new products and suppliers to satisfy customer needs.- Assist in implementing and deployment of Global Sourcing & Procurement strategies- Advice stakeholders in procurement policies & guidelines- Develop and execute savings projects aligned to Global/Regional KPI- Aid manager with any special assignments that may come up- Conduent is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers applicants for all positions without regard to race, color, creed, religion, ancestry, national origin, age, gender identity, gender expression, sex/gender, marital status, sexual orientation, physical or mental disability, medical condition, use of a guide dog or service animal, military/veteran status, citizenship status, basis of genetic information, or any other group protected by law.- At Conduent we value the health and safety of our associates, their families and our community.
