With a global presence and a commitment to innovation and quality, we serve various industries, including mining, construction, and environmental.**Position Overview**:As the Cross-Border Operations Director at EDDY Pump Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our operations in both San Diego, California, and Tijuana, Baja California. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient functioning of our manufacturing and engineering facilities while fostering collaboration and synergy between our teams on both sides of the border.**Key Responsibilities**:- **Strategic Leadership**:Develop and implement cross-border strategies that align with the company's goals, optimizing operations in both San Diego and Tijuana.- **Team Management**:Lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional teams in both locations, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.- **Operations Oversight**:Oversee manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and logistics operations, ensuring adherence to quality standards, timelines, and cost-effectiveness.- **Compliance**:Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards on both sides of the border, including customs and trade compliance.- **Cost Management**:Implement cost-control measures to optimize operational efficiency, reduce waste, and maximize profitability.- **Vendor and Supplier Relations**:Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to secure the best possible partnerships.- **Continuous Improvement**:Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas for optimization and efficiency gains in the production and supply chain processes.- **Cross-Border Coordination**:Facilitate seamless communication and collaboration between the San Diego and Tijuana teams, leveraging the strengths of each location.- **Risk Management**:Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring business continuity and resilience.- **Reporting**:Provide regular performance reports and updates to senior management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and opportunities.**Qualifications**:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).- Proven experience in cross-border operations management, preferably in the manufacturing or engineering sector.- Strong leadership skills with a track record of leading and motivating cross-functional teams.- In-depth knowledge of operations, supply chain, and logistics management.- Familiarity with international trade regulations and customs procedures.- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.- Fluency in English and Spanish is highly desirable.- Willingness to travel between San Diego and Tijuana as needed.Pay: $110,000.00 - $180,000.00 per monthAbility to commute/relocate:- 22215, Tijuana, B.C.: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)Willingness to travel:- 25% (required)
