**Basic Infomation**Department:Alibaba GroupDegree:BachelorWork Experience:1 yearWe are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Center Technician I to join our growing operations team. As a Data Center Technician I, you will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity, security, and continuous operation of our state-of-the-art data centers. This hands-on position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about technology and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment. Conduct routine inspections of data center equipment, including servers, storage systems, networking devices, and power distribution units. Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs on hardware and cabling, following established procedures and escalation processes when necessary. Monitor and maintain environmental conditions within the data center (temperature, humidity, dust levels) to ensure optimal server performance. Assist with deployment, installation, and decommissioning of IT hardware in accordance with established standards and best practices. Participate in routine maintenance activities, including replacing faulty components, updating firmware, and conducting preventative maintenance checks. Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including asset tracking, inventory management, and incident reports. Respond promptly to emergency situations, following established contingency plans. Adhere to strict safety protocols and industry standards to protect personnel, equipment, and data.**Position Requirement**Minimum qualification: Bachelor's degree or equivalent; additional technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Server+) are a plus. Able to communicate in English. 1-2 years of experience in a data center or similar IT operations environment. Strong understanding of basic IT infrastructure components, including servers, storage, networking, and cabling. Familiarity with data center infrastructure management (DCIM) tools and environmental monitoring systems. Able to work on-site in Queretato, Mexico 100% of the time. Flexibility to work non-standard hours, including working weekends, holidays and on shift-based schedule as required. Must hold Mexican citizenship. Preferred qualification: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. Strong communication skills and attention to detail. Able to communicate in both English and Spanish. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, facilities, and security, to ensure seamless operation and continuous improvement of data center processes.
