Our associates make the world more productive by improving the efficiency and reliability of the machinery that keeps industry in motion.**Purpose and Scope**Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team in accomplishing the goals and objectives of the Plant's business plan primarily related to the effective deployment of engineering process standards, continuous improvement, the processes development required to achieve optimal efficiency in manufacturing execution. This role exists to supervised, direct, and control the activities of engineering systems and functions and is responsible for major project management, capital budgeting process, and cost control of areas under their command.**Responsibilities**- Provide technical leadership and resources to manufacturing processes in order to improve efficiencies and to ensure the profitable grow of the organization.- Develop and manage the Plant Capital Budget.- Actively participate in plant cost control performance by forecasting and tracking assigned expense categories.- Provides significant input to business planning process and manage the development and completion of objectives to achieve the defined results.- Oversee the execution of major capital projects, equipment modifications and installations, and continuous improvement activities.- Develop team members utilizing TMP to be highly skilled and cross trained.- Acts as a mentor to other associates, helping them to develop enhanced technical, problem solving and leadership skills.- Provide engineering support as needed for facility processes and equipment.- Lead and/or oversee technical vendor evaluation and selection.- Conduct and lead root cause analysis to ensure safety, quality, and production issues are addressed.- Support the development of strategies - for safety, quality, manufacturing, and related cost improvement, including capital expenditures of facilities and equipment to support.- Provide support for technical services to assure compliance with all governing bodies for standards adherence including IATF, ISO14001, NOMs, etc.**Technical/Functional Skills**- Skill in identifying and implementing process improvements to improve operating efficiency and reduce costs.- Ability to grow and mentor individuals to improve the Company results as well as the skills of each associate.- Highly organized and systematic.- Skilled in developing business plan tactics that provide tangible improvements.- Knowledgeable in SAP and Teamcenter software.- Ability to compile, analyze and interpret data to drive improvement, provide accurate forecasts, and identify good practices.- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.- Self-starter, detail-oriented, organized, able to manage multiple projects with mínimal supervision.- Ability to demonstrate agility and adaptability to support multiple manufacturing areas and manage changes in priorities.- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including ability/willingness to deliver training to individuals and groups.- Highly knowledgeable in Timken processes and process standards.**Education / Experience**- Required - Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Manufacturing with 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing environment, with knowledge in project management.All qualified applicants shall be treated equally according to their individual qualifications, abilities, experiences and other employment standards.
