**Job Details****What do you do?**Join us in the Procurement Execution Center as a Buyer. In this role, you will be responsible for running and executing RFPs in conjunction with the Category Managers, using JCI’s preferred e-RFx solutions. As a Buyer for the Exec Ctr, you will produce work standards and streamline activities being performed globally in pursuit of best-in-class performance. In addition, you will work closely with the Category Management team to leverage benchmarking data, understand market conditions and maximize value by obtaining cost savings, analyzing cost models, managing demand and reducing cost leakage across JCI.**How will you do it?**:- Develop a standard RFP process for supported Indirect Categories, while streamlining processes and supporting automation.- Collects and scrubs RFP data and baseline information for RFP across multiple Indirect Categories.- Develops cost models within GEP/JAGGAER for Bid Analysis.- Operates RFP during phases, including supplier follow up, Q&A and bid submissions.- Works together with Procurement Data Analyst to streamline bid analysis and identify underlying opportunities, invalid bid submissions and estimate target pricing/should cost recommendation..- Runs RFPs for smaller events in coordination with Category Managers.- Support and drive a standard contract management practice and standard contract terms throughout the global logistics organization.- Other Procurement duties as assignedWhat we look for:- Bachelor’s degree in related field.- 4+ years of relevant experience in Direct or Indirect Procurement. Prior experience in Prior experience in MRO, Professional Services, Travel, or Fleet is a plus.- Deep understanding of RFx processes, including- Proven contract management and negotiation experience.- Strong MS Office skills required, particularly in MS Excel.- Data skills such as Power BI/Tableau, T-SQL or Python are a plus.- APICS or ISM CPSM certifications is a plus.- Strong analytical skills and business judgment.**“Johnson Controls does not request pregnancy or HIV testing as a requirement for admission, permanence or promotion”****Additional Information****Overtime Status: Exempt**Johnson Controls values a diverse and inclusive workplace.
