Objective of the positionOverall Cost Management from pre-acquisition till EOP - focus on manufacturing cost of components and products incl. equipment (injection molding, mechanical, electrical and mechatronic products)**Principal activities**:Creation of detailed cost calculations for components and products (purchased parts and in-house components incl. assembly processes)Calculation of tariffs / hourly rates for assembly lines and evaluation of the line parameters within the calculation process (determination of cycle times, balancing of cycle time, etc. in coordination with production planning)Development of cost models and calculation tools for new technologies which has not yet been calculated internally - galvanize, paint, laminate, die-cast, smd, semiconductors production, cable production etc. (independent information gathering for evaluation - process flow, investment etc. and development of the calculation logic in excel or system-based)Determination of the relevant investment costs for components and products - tools, peripherals, line investments, etc. in a high degree of detail e.g. calculation of tools in TcPCM with all necessary processes - design of the tool (sliders, cavities, etc.), feasibility assessment, material selection according to specification, process evaluation (milling, eroding, etc.)Development, implementation and execution of cost management procedures and tools such as design to cost, cost benchmarking, supplier competition workshops, functional cost analyses, idea/potential workshops internal and external, value stream analysis onsite of supplier etc. in close collaboration with procurement, development and production areaDefinition of realistic targets for purchased components based on internal defined input parameters for calculation (overhead, profit, scrap etc.)Support procurement team in the analysis of cost breakdowns and identification of potentialsSupport cost negotiations with customer (for Buy Part)Lead, support and participate in cost optimization tasksParticipate in the supplier evaluations and make-or-buy analysisBuilding up know-how database based on cost breakdowns e.g. in TcPCMSupporting the supervisor in the functional lead of employeesAll other special projects/tasks as needed**Requirements**:**Professional career**:Degree related**Relevant experience**:3-5 years in similar positionExperience in the evaluation/calculation of different productsIn-depth process knowledge in different manufacturing technologies (specially Injection molding, Blow molding, Painting, Chrome, Die Cast, Metal parts)Ready to incorporate itself into new manufacturing technologies and evaluate them**Technical knowledge**:Experience with Software Siemens Product Cost Management (TcPCM)Product and process/- planning knowledgeGood knowledge of EnglishNegotiation skillsCost awarenessAbility to work in a teamSelf-conception as service provider in the organizationStrategic thinkingGrasp of commerce and technology**Languages**:English Advanced
