Position Name : ESD Specialist
Department : Quality
1) Objective
Coordinate, establish, define and support ESD protection measures and implementation for new projects.
2) Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
At least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
Experience in the Automotive Industry.
Business English proficiency.
3) Responsibilities
- Defining the necessary ESD protection measures.
- Defining ESD areas and/or ESD workspaces.
- Defining personnel ESD protective equipment in cooperation with staff representatives, the works council (if available), safety engineering, and the plant physician.
- Proposing, selecting, testing, and releasing the ESD protective elements and ESD tools.
- Supporting the acceptance tests of production facilities.
- Monitoring the application and effectiveness of the ESD protection measures.
- Creating documentation for inclusion in a QM system.
- Implementing ESD rules and standards.
- Organizing ESD inspections/internal ESD audit checklists/documentation.
- Organizing a training program and possibly performing training of supervisors and assistants.
- Serving as the contact person for all questions on ESD protection.
- Implementing the defined ESD protection measures.
- Finding ESD gaps in workspaces.
- Ensuring compliance with ESD standards.
- Implementing internal ESD audits.
- Implementing ESD audit measurements.
- Implementing ESD training for workers.
