Planning and Logisitic Sr. Analyst

Torreón, CoahuilaSenior Planning and Logistics Analyst**Objective**:Manage supplier demand and logistics to support production fulfillment and delivery to customers. Maintain inventory levels of material in accordance with the objectives of the company.Reduce waste and obsolete material by ensuring material arrives on time and in small batches at the optimal freight cost. Coordinate and support the plant with critical shortages, balance, increase / decrease, new projects. Main Coordinator of Plant Champion.**Responsibilities/Skills**:Schedule and run MRP by plant according to standard process- Sending firm Releases and Forecasts to suppliers. Validate pro- Publish information on the supplier portal- Transmit EDI Release Management- Support for BTS (manufacturing) and FG shipments to end customers.- Follow-up to the report of shortages (by supplier and plant), based on DOH, Open Orders.- Provide information related to quantities, ETA (estimated time of arrival), tracking number, carrier information, to Plant Materials Group.- Daily meetings with Suppliers, Materials Plant Group and XPO Logistics, to monitor shortages.- Conciliar orders (PKC / Suppliers)- Analysis and Control of Early Shipments by supplier.- Reschedule firm incoming / outgoing orders with suppliers.- Negotiate with suppliers cancellation of orders- Review items with exceptions (automatic creation, not in a BPO) and order correctly- Coordinate and secure supplier shipments to have the optimal freight cost- Integrate the business processes and IT systems of suppliers.- Communicate in advance the performance of suppliers in order to expose future problems that prevent support of production plans.- Communication with the supplier about delivery performance issues.- Coordinate engineering changes and increases / reductions with suppliers- Review stock with distributors, competitors, manufacturers of PKC / MSSL Plants (Mexico, Brazil, Estonia, China) when a shortage is detected.- Review and propose alternative options with Suppliers, Program Management, Plant Engineers, Design, Materials, when a shortage is detected.- Prepare cash purchases for approval of commodity buyers / managers. Follow up with suppliers.- Attend scheduled meetings with Plant / Program Management, to provide responses related to shortages, launches, balances, new projects.- Support to Supply Chain analysts with technical assistance.- Compile consolidated lists to implement in Plant.- Configure premium loads in logistics databases- Participate, suggest and coordinate XPO logistics initiatives- Prepare and coordinate information between Suppliers and Purchasing to improve the implementation of initiatives- Monitoring of the RMA process.- Review and coordinate data with A / P and material receiving partners for missing payments.- Train suppliers in the Supplier Portal System- Manage exception floor requests through the exception database system.- Request approvals and coordinate information with import-export departments. (supplier & PKC), to move raw material in Mexico, through “Virtual Pedimentos”.- Daily maintenance of Orders. Reconcile orders with Suppliers, Material Receiving Groups, Cross Docks Warehouses (Del Rio / El Paso) and A / P.- Monitor the Supplier's shipments to PKC, in order to identify shortages or missing material, to determine responsibility: Supplier / Carrier / XPO Logistics / PKC. Claims tracking- Match plant receipts to vendor shipments based on blanket orders.- Ensure that express freight is paid by the supplier, if the schedule is delayed.- Request 8d's or Root Cause Analysis to suppliers, and Recovery Plans for potential items that could affect the BTS Harness Plant (s) and / or any Shipment to the End Customer when the Supplier is responsible.- Request Proformas on time for Cash in Advance suppliers, and follow up with suppliers and suppliers.- Ensures organizational compliance with inventory management policies, contractual requirements, and government regulations.
