We specialize in delivering end-to-end technology services, including IT consulting, managed services, and custom software development.- **Please read the job description before applying**_**This is **NOT** a remote job****Positions Available**:2 X Senior I/ II / III roles**Working Model**: Hybrid**Location**:Mexico City; 2 days onsite at Lexis Nexis, 3 days remote.**Hours of Work**: 8 hours per day, during regular office hours.**Compensation**:Competitive market salary with applicable benefits.**Contract Terms**: Fixed-term contract for the first 6 months, with the possibility of full-time employment with Lexis Nexis thereafter.**Job Overview****Responsibilities**:- Manage data assets, including training and evaluation datasets, and build pipelines for legal document data.- Collaborate with legal experts to ensure models meet specific needs and drive continuous improvements through experiments and performance evaluations.**Requirements**:- Must have strong communication skills and proficiency in English.- Must have practical experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), RAG, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning.- Formal training in machine learning techniques and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face Transformers.- Proficiency in Natural Language Processing (NLP) with libraries like spaCy, word2vec, and BERT.- Strong Python skills and knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).- Experience with data modeling, relational and NoSQL databases, and vector stores.- Familiarity with distributed computing systems, API development, containerization, and ML Ops/AI Ops is highly preferred.**Preferred Qualifications**:- MS in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, or a related field is preferred.We look forward to helping you take the next step in your career**Job Types**: Full-time, ContractContract length: 6 monthsAbility to commute/relocate:- 06600, Ciudad de México, CDMX: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)Application Question(s):- Do have practical experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), RAG, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning?**Experience**:- Data Scientist: 6 years (required)**Language**:- English (required)Work Location: Hybrid remote in 06600, Ciudad de México, CDMX
