Overview We are looking for a skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with deep expertise in network debugging, diagnostics, and embedded systems. As an SRE, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, and reliability of our systems. You will manage escalations, conduct diagnostics, collect logs, and perform first-level diagnosis to quickly identify and resolve issues. Key Responsibilities Manage and troubleshoot escalations related to network issues, embedded systems, and infrastructure. Perform first-level diagnosis of complex issues and provide resolutions or escalate as needed. Collect and analyze system logs to diagnose issues and track performance. Troubleshoot network-related issues and identify root causes. Monitor the health and performance of infrastructure, providing recommendations for scaling and reliability improvements. Work with teams to automate and streamline system management and monitoring. Ensure high availability and uptime of critical systems and applications. Participate in on-call rotations and provide support for urgent issues. Key Requirements 10+ years of experience as an SRE, with a deep understanding of network debugging, diagnostics, and embedded systems. Extensive experience in networking protocols (Layer 2 and Layer 3), network diagnostics, and troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with embedded systems and debugging at the hardware and software interface. Ability to handle escalations independently, gather system logs, and perform first-level diagnostics. Familiarity with network troubleshooting tools like Wireshark and other network analysis tools. Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work well in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. Experience with Sonic (open-source network OS) and Switch Abstraction Interface (SAI) is highly preferred. Co-location in Guadalajara is preferred, but candidates from any LATAM country are welcome to apply. Additional Information Experience: 10+ years.
