Currently we are modernizing our data platforms, implementing modern data management and data integrations platforms.**JOB DUTIES**:- Administer, configure, and support databases (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2 and other cloud RDBMS) and cloud data platform (Snowflake)- Administer, configure, and support analytics platform tools such as tableau, PowerBI- Manage and administer internal and external requests for data warehouse access and permissions while support data security and protection- Monito system performance and identifying problems that arise.- Respond in a timely manner to user-reported errors.- Protect the database against threats or unauthorized access.- Ensure that the database is adequately backed up and able to be recovered- Report on metrics regarding usage and performance.- Manage platforms to meet or exceed service level agreement- Execute proof of concepts and/or technology capabilities demonstration projects- Capacity monitoring and planning- Provide audit & compliance support- Participate in Data Engineering, Data Integration, and Data Pipeline implementation on the data platforms as needed- Provide on call support as needed**YOU MUST HAVE**:- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field- 5+ years of experience in RDBMS, Data Warehouse systems, Data Lake, and BI solutions, including working with platforms such as Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, Databricks, Tableau- Good Linux/Unix experience along with scripting- Knowledge of Data Integration technologies- Experience in end user support- Knowledge of database monitoring and performance tuning techniques- Advanced English**WE VALUE**:- Hands-on public cloud experience preferred, including experience with technologies and tools such as continuous integration, continuous deployment, configuration management, and provisioning automation**WHAT´´S IN IT FOR YOU?**- Resideo's benefits above the Mexican lawLI-RemoteLI-MZ1At Resideo, we bring together diverse individuals to build the future of homes.
