Senior SMT Programming Engineer (1st Shift) page is loaded## Senior SMT Programming Engineer (1st Shift)locations: Las Fuentes, 32437 Ciudad Juárez Chihuahua Mexico 32437time type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: REQ\_ *We are a leading company in the wireless broadband communications industry looking for talented professionals with a winning attitude.***Job Description****Main Duties, Responsibilities, and Expectations:*** Develop and maintain the site’s Operating System initiatives and activities in all phases.* Develop and keep assigned standard work up to date and supervise the standard work of subordinates.* Stabilize production processes and equipment and implement improvements.* Implement corrective and preventive actions to keep production equipment in good operating condition.* Generate the necessary procedures required for each existing technology and process at WNC.* Develop local suppliers that provide services and/or spare parts with equal or better quality than original equipment manufacturers for SMT equipment.* Develop plans to control and improve the different processes and technologies at WNC, using statistical methods.* Implement production processes that minimize the risk of nonconforming products and ensure compliance with customer requirements and applicable regulations.* Design and establish control mechanisms that allow detection, analysis, and corrective action.* Knowledge in the implementation of manufacturing processes for electrical and electronic products, including SMD, PCB soldering, electrical testing, automatic insertion, assembly, and inspection processes.**Knowledge, Education, and Experience:*** Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electronic, Electromechanical, and/or Industrial Engineering.* Advanced English (mandatory).* 5 to 8 years of experience in the position or a similar role, preferably with SMT component placement machines.* Experience in component placement programming (Panasonic and ASM), required.* Knowledge of SPI and AOI equipment (Koh Young and TRI) and X-ray inspection, required.* Basic handling of an MES system.* IPC certification, preferred.* Knowledge of surface mount technology machines, solder paste printers, reflow ovens, and PLCs.* Ability to identify areas of opportunity and promote actions that contribute to continuous improvement.**Education****Work Experience****Language****Skills**Design Assurance, Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Documentation Generation, Eight Disciplines Problem Solving (8D), Engineering Change Notice, Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), Failure Analysis, Failure Mode Effects And Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Geometric Dimensioning And Tolerancing, Lean Manufacturing, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Mass Production, New Product Development, Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Process Specification, Production Processes, Requirements Engineering, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Tolerance Analysis, Validation ProcessesWNC has established itself as a company with a solid, robust culture built upon the core values of fundamentals advocacy, team cohesion, customer trust, and value creation.We have also established a comprehensive talent cultivation system that ensures a great work experience at WNC through digital transformation, employee learning & development programs, recruitment and compensation strategies and friendly workplace initiatives.
