From our welcoming, inclusive, and flexible culture to our global and diverse business, we provide opportunities to help you reach your potential while helping our clients reach theirs.Come join us in delivering better outcomes for our clients around the worldWhat is the Corporate Accounting group responsible for?The Corporate Accounting group is responsible for maintaining the required accounting records for Franklin Templeton entities operating in Mexico.What are the ongoing responsibilities of a Junior Accountant?- Follow up Accounts Payables process requirements: Approvals, documentation, invoices- Prepares monthly expenses, recurring, and adjusting journal entries- Performing daily cash management activities, tracking expenses transactions- Participates in month-end close- Records financial entries and prepares balance sheet reconciliations- Assisting in the preparation of interim and year-end audit working papers as assignedWhat ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?- Bachelor’s in accounting, Finance- Experience with accounting software (desirable)- One to two years accounting experience or equivalent combination of education and experience- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability to determine the root cause of any discrepancies- Intermediate computer skills (MS Word, Excel: pivots, vlookup desirable)- Ability to interact with all levels of individuals internal and externalAssociate- Experience our welcoming culture and reach your professional and personal potential- Our culture is shaped by our diverse global workforce and strongly held core values.
