Responsibilities The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment. Evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering methods and techniques on work of small projects or on portions of larger projects. Receives instructions on specific assignment objectives, complex features, and assistance in deriving possible solutions to unusual problems. Perform structural analysis and design of steel, concrete, masonry, and (where applicable) wood structures for industrial and high‑performance facilities. May develop and review design calculations, models, and drawings for:Building frames and foundations Equipment foundations, pipe racks, platforms, mezzanines, and support structures Structural modifications to existing facilities Apply relevant building codes and standards (e.g., IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI, local codes). Work as part of a multi‑discipline project team (architectural, mechanical, electrical, process, civil, etc.) to coordinate structural requirements and interfaces. May contribute to quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) reviews for structural deliverables. Reviews construction documents (plans, sections, details, specifications). Support the development of structural design criteria and basis‑of‑design documents. Reviews work with supervisor to ensure the application of sound engineering practices and professional judgment. May write portions of specifications and assist in preparing cost estimates. Performs design work on CADD. Qualifications What You Will Bring: Bachelor´s degree in Civil engineering, with a structural emphasis (or equivalent). Six to ten (6 - 10) direct years of experience in same activities / responsibilities. Experience with previous industrial/manufacturing building project experience. Data center and/or pharmaceutical building experience. Proficiency with structural analysis and design software such as ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD, RAM, RISA or similar. Experience with building codes and standards such as: IBC, ASCE 7, ASIC, ACI (and others as applicable). Working knowledge of AutoCAD. Advanced English. Desirable Skills Experience with structural work on mid- to large-size projects. Familiarity with BIM workflows and multi-discipline model coordination. Working knowledge of Revit for coordination and markup. What We Bring Monthly based gross salary.
