Management of the manufacturing process of heads or structural products, throughout all operations: core, casting, molding, tooling, preparation, heat treatment, visual inspection, machining, leak test, to ensure that process and product standards are complied**Main Responsibilities**- Keep the internal and external scrap indicator within or below the target.- Define process control improvements and variability reduction.- Manage engineering changes with the client, focused on the improvement of product quality, internal or external.- Preparation and update of FMEA / control plan / flow chart.- Preparation and update of quality documents. (Standard procedures, key variable sheets, methods, operating instructions)- Keep the tools involved in the manufacture of the product updated, at the latest level of engineering. as well as measurement programs.- Make use of analysis and problem solution tools, to improve the internal and external quality indicator. statistical tools, structured methods of analysis.- Manage the entire deployment process of engineering changes required by the client.- Make use of the available information technology tools for process management: establish process windows, optimization of specification limits, prediction of conforming and non-conforming parts.**Position Requirements**- Bachelor’s degree (Materials engineer / metallurgist, Mechanical administrator / electrical engineer, Chemical engineer, Industrial engineer)- Experience in analysis and problem solution, using methodologies such as DMAIC (green belt / black belt).- English essential (speaking, reading, and writing skills) with experience / knowledge of technical terminology.- 3 years minimum in automotive industry metal mechanics essential.- Very desirable cast aluminum.- 2 to 3 years minimum of experience in:- Process engineering or- Quality engineering or- Product engineering- Operations (related to casting processes, manufacture of models or hearts, tools- At Nemak, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (D&I) play a fundamental role in everything we do and are the underlying platform on which our culture is built.
