About the job:
- Work with Plant Manager to set Production KPIs and targets; involve with other departments.
- Manage resources (human and materials) to meet Production KPIs.
- Generate Production Plan (PP) schedule according to customer requirements and validate it with Supply Chain.
- Manage subordinate staff on a day-to-day basis.
- Determine human resources needed (Head Count calculation) to ensure PP adherence.
- Strive to increase productivity across all production processes.
- Ensure adherence to safety and health procedures.
- Work closely with Quality to set product quality standards and assure they are being fulfilled.
- Involve with all departments to generate, determine and implement improvements to the production process.
- Efficient collaboration and coordination between departments to assist in fulfilling Plant KPIs.
- Prepare and maintain production reports.
- Develop and manage department budget.
About you:
- BS in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as Production Manager or related activities, preferably in Automotive or Electronics Industry.
- Knowledge and experience in production and manufacturing processes techniques.
- Knowledge of computer packages for solving management problems.
- Management and project management skills, and experience with new releases.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques; basic knowledge of Six Sigma methodology.
- Knowledge of core tools (PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA).
- Knowledge in the shooting of the lines, standard work, material flows.
- English proficiency at 90%.
