VP of Brand Marketing – Caribbean & LATAM We are looking for an ambitious VP of Brand Marketing to lead theCaribbean & LATAM Brand team at Ennismore. This is an exciting role in our growing company and will focus on leading the integrated marketing team for the region & the global brand strategy for SLS & Park Royal. Based in Cancun and reporting into both the Chief Brand & Culture Officer and the Head of Americas, this role will be responsible for developing culturally relevant annual brand marketing plans that drive both brand love and commercial needs. We’ve got lots of ambition to grow our brands and appeal to new audiences in new markets, and you will be an integral part of driving this. Job Description What you’ll do in the role… We are all about building brands with purpose, putting creative storytelling at the heart of everything we do, you will be responsible for setting the strategic vision for each property in the LATAMregion, ensuring each has a distinct point of view and delivers innovative communication and activations. It goes without saying that you need to have a deep understanding of lifestyle communities. You will need to get under the skin of each brand and property to drive insightful ideas, partnerships and opportunities that build cultural relevance and authenticity. We always balance the heart and the head, so you will work with our commercial teams to drive revenue, manage budgets, set metrics and assess data and effectiveness of plans. You will lead an integrated team across brand strategy, content, digital and PR creating an environment that inspires and drives ambition while allowing people to be themselves and bring their best work to the table. You will work across the entire marketing mix with a strong understanding of the creative process, digital marketing and experiential experiences. We are lucky to have a strong in-house creative studio in London alongside working with some great creative agencies and design partners, you will work closely with all partners to ensure that briefs are clear and inspiring and each brand’s DNA is maintained. We are all about delivering the best hospitality for our guests. To do this you will work with our operations teams, defining the brand experience and standards and ensuring that they are brought to life at every guest touch point. We like to make things run smoothly but also are ok with a bit of grey. You will need to build process to drive structure and organization, while being able to be flexible and deliver great work in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications What we’re looking for… A strategic thinker with a strong commercial acumen, someone who has a track record in building brands and delivering high growth A passionate brand guardian who cares about every creative detail with no compromise Must be fluent in both Spanish & English A great communicator with stakeholders across the business at all levels. You will have the ability to interact with potential and existing owners to articulate brand vision and ethos and get them as excited as we are. You’re naturally curious and want to challenge the status quo by bringing your own ideas to the fore. You’re super organized and will be able to calmly jump from brand to brand and manage competing, and sometimes conflicting priorities Experience in hospitality isn’t a must, but we do want you to be genuinely interested in our industry; whether that’s a love for a delicious meal, a decent drink, a cozy bed or a travel adventure Someone proactive and able to work independently but likes being sociable & collaborative too You’re looking for a place where you can be you; no clones in suits here You’re not precious.
