Cazeta is seeking a Drafter to support an international client who is a leading manufacturer of specialized security products, perimeter barriers, and other high-security metal systems such as doors and windows.Our client works closely with architects, specifiers, engineers, and security specialists on projects ranging from defense facilities and government buildings to power plants and pharmaceutical companies, prioritizing the protection of people and assets while maintaining the architectural intent and functional requirements of each building. Their mission is to deliver high-quality, innovative physical security solutions to address emerging threats, helping keep people safe around the world, a responsibility they take with great pride and commitment.This position will be located in Cazeta’s Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico office, providing remote support to the engineering and architectural teams by producing fabrication and approval drawings, with the possibility of transitioning to a hybrid work model in the future.**Main responsibilities**:- Produce fabrication, assembly, and detailed construction drawings for specialized metal products (doors, windows, grilles, security systems, etc.).- Prepare shop and approval drawings ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.- Collaborate closely with engineering, architectural, and manufacturing teams to ensure proper design interpretation.- Update and maintain technical documentation according to design or approval changes.- Support the optimization of drawing processes and standardization of components.- Ensure compliance with quality standards and client requirements.**Education and experience**:- 5+ years of experience in technical drafting or mechanical design focused on metal fabrication or architectural products.- Experience in the Construction Industry is a plus but not a requirement.- **Proficiency in AutoCAD Inventor w/ 5+ years experience (required).**:- Strong understanding of architectural and structural drawings.- **Advanced English (required for communication with international teams).**:- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.**Salary may vary based on experience.**Cazeta offers a flexible work environment and professional growth opportunities within a dynamic and expanding company.
