We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Manager on second shift in our Monterrey Center of Excellence. As the Associate Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall success of your team, as well as the individual performance and development of each team member. Your primary focus will be on successfully maintaining service level agreements for internal and external customers and ensuring high-quality output.The schedule for this position is Thursday through Monday from 14:00 to 23:00 with Tuesday and Wednesday off. Rest days may change as operations require. This associate manager will be on call on off days and, from time-to-time other shifts. Morning or afternoon meetings with internal and external customers are kept to a minimum but may be required and will be scheduled in advance.What You’ll Do- Performance Monitoring and Coaching: Actively monitor the performance of individual team members and the team as a whole, providing timely (in-the-moment) feedback, coaching, and support to help them excel in their roles. Identify areas for improvement and work collaboratively with individuals to develop their skills and achieve their goals.- Team Experience and Engagement: Foster a positive and collaborative team culture by organizing team-building activities, promoting open communication, and ensuring team members have a positive experience within the organization. Maintain regular check-ins to address concerns, provide guidance, and promote a supportive work environment.- Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with functional leaders and customer contacts in Canada and the US. Engage in daily conversations to stay updated on the current state of operations and receive feedback on performance challenges faced by team members. Effectively communicate with and present to leaders and customers about progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.- Hands-On Involvement: Possess a deep understanding of the tasks performed by team members. Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively about the specifics of their work, offer suggestions for improvement, and help when necessary. Contribute approximately 30% of weekly production work to support the team.- Staffing and Hiring: Ensure appropriate daily staffing levels by managing team schedules and identifying staffing gaps. Collaborate with HR and leadership to attract, interview, and onboard new team members, ensuring a smooth integration into the team.- Project Input: Provide valuable insights and input to leadership regarding projects, process improvements, and strategic initiatives. Leverage your knowledge of team operations to contribute to decision-making and drive positive outcomes.Basic Qualifications:- Two years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation management.- Experience in training, coaching, workload management, and team development.- Excellent English skills, verbal and written.Preferred Qualifications and Experience:- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with team members, functional leaders, and other stakeholders.- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey information, provide feedback, and deliver presentations.- Desire for in-depth knowledge of the tasks performed by team members, enabling you to guide, mentor, and support their professional growth.- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to identify issues, analyze data, and propose solutions.- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.- Prefer prior after-hours experience.**Experience**: Required- 2 year(s): 2 years of experience in logistics**Education**: Required- Bachelor or better**Skills**: Required- Bilingual English/Spanish
