Interpreter Trainer

We are thrilled to be opening our first contact center in Guadalajara, Jalisco, and are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and dedicated Interpreter Trainer to support our employees on-site in Guadalajara. This position provides Interpreter training and assists with quality assurance efforts within the CyraCom interpreter pool. Professional fluency in English is required for this role.**As an Interpreter Trainer, you will**:- Provide a variety of internal training, including the Introduction to CICP, routine Interpreter workshops, and any other employee training as assigned.- Establish and/or identify opportunities for improvements to training curriculum and delivery.- Communicate effectively with other departments to support all training and company-wide objectives- Document, track, and report training activities including participant and coach performance.- Assist with other training projects as required, such as external workshops and external training.- Remain current on best practices, trends and developments in the industry.- Demonstrate a continued commitment to professional education and industry best practices.- Exercise a high degree of professionalism and self-motivation using personal initiative to identify and recommend best practices.- Favorably represent the company.- All employees are required to perform the following essential functions: demonstrate predictable, reliable and timely attendance; follow written and verbal directions and complete assigned tasks on schedule; read, write and communicate in English; communicate in person and by telephone in accordance with CyraCom policy; learn from directions, observations and mistakes; work independently or as part of a team; interact appropriately with others including co-workers, supervisors and customers; and work with supervision, receiving instructions/feedback, coaching/counseling and/or corrective action.- Perform all other duties as assigned.**As an Interpreter Trainer, you must have**:- Demonstrable knowledge of language services industry.- Expert knowledge of interpretation policies and procedures.- A passion for excellence in customer service.- Ability to operate standard office equipment such as telephones, computers, copiers.- Ability to organize and plan work adhering to priorities and deadlines.- Effective written and spoken communication; ability to present results effectively in written reports.- Excellent presentation skills and professional demeanor.- Flexibility to work varied schedules as assigned.- Knowledge of applicable policies in the language services field.- Knowledge of reputable leading organizations in the language services field.- Appreciation of other cultures and languages.**As an Interpreter Trainer, you must be**:- Skilled at data analysis, critical thinking and problem-solving.- Skilled at establishing and maintaining effective working relationships; strong ability to communicate effectively with a diverse team- Skilled at providing coaching and constructive feedback.- Fluent in verbal and written communication in Spanish and English.**Minimum Qualifications**:- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Adult Education, Interpretation, Translation or Linguistics.- Three (3) years of progressively responsible training or supervisory experience.- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word**What else you can expect**:**Physical Demands**:Requires sitting or standing for extended periods of time.Extensive use of a computer and repetitive hand movements in the performance of duties.Occasional lifting and carrying of material weighing up to twenty pounds may be required**Equipment Operated**: Personal computer, printers, fax, copier and telephone.**Environmental Factors**: None.- Duties not listed in this position description may be required of the employee at the discretion of management_. _The incumbent may delegate all or any of their duties to qualified personnel; however, such delegation does not relieve them of overall responsibility and accountability for the successful conduct of those duties._**Why Work for CyraCom?**CyraCom International, Inc. is the leading provider of language interpreting services and operates the most extensive network of large-scale interpreter contact centers.
