Listed on London Stock Exchange; Member of the FTSE 250 Index.**Responsibilities**:**Job Purpose**:Provide support to EHS activities in the plant, promoting compliance with safety rules through the review of risk points on the production floor and informing the people involved. Issue statistical reports so that the EHS site manager can make decisions related to avoiding harm and maintaining a safe and healthy environment.**Essential Responsabilities**:Provide support and continuity to periodic tasks that allow the proper functioning of the equipment to prevent accidents such as:- First aid kits- Fire extinguishers- Hydrants- CO2 Fixed Systems- Fire Fighting Network- Automatic DefibrillatorInformation gathering and inspection of pressurized vesselsFloor support for detection, feedback and prevention of unsafe acts and conditions.Survey of information and inspection of equipment with atmospheric emissions:- Dust collectors- Fume extractors- ChimneysSupervise and oversee compliance with COVID protocols throughout the plant, related to monitoring gel station levels, sanitizing mats, digital thermometers, healthy distance, temperature records, among others.Organize the municipal solid waste and special handling area; Establish a procedure, make it known, measure the result and make the necessary adjustments to make it work.Manage the temporary storage of hazardous waste.- Label and weigh hazardous waste containers.- Keeping control of the hazardous waste logbook.Qualifications:**Soft Competencies**:This position is entry level, so the competencies required are related to the ability to follow instructions, relational skills to communicate with others, be organized and disciplined, be ethical. The person will receive guidance and training to perform their duties and will gradually become more technically proficient.**Requirements**:- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering or equivalent.- At least 1 year of EHS experience.- Disciplaned and working in an orderly fashion- Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Access); advanced proficiency in Excel is preferred- Advanced knowledge of English (not mandatory)- Ease of learning**Morgan Advanced Materials is an EEO/AA/M/W/D/V Employer
