Medium Voltage Engineer

If you share our bold mindset to be best-in-class, we want you IN.**Your Future Role**The position is driven by the projects, the main objective of the position is to develop engineering for other regions remotely but in certain cases, it might be necessary to work in the commissioning and start up on site. Availability to travel according to project requirements.- Electrical Rooms design, electrical layout & routing according to international standards.- Selection and sizing of electrical equipment for ER, such as cable trays, piping, etc., in accordance with NEC regulations and other applicable international standards.- Elaboration of bill of materials BOM.- Customer Electrical Engineering Review.- Support to the control engineer with the electrical schematics, mechanic layout and control diagrams of the control system.- Supervising on customer site electrical installation, proves & mounting of electrical equipment.- Electromechanical Work Supervision.- Test to primary equipment (Power Transformers, Tp´s, Tc´s, SF6 circuit breaker Disconnect Switches, MV MCC, MV Switchgear).- FAT, Commissioning, troubleshooting & Startup of the electrical system on site.**Your Profile**- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.- Advanced English is extremely important with excellent communication skills for technical conversations.- At least between 4 or 5 years in a similar position.- Experience in parameterizing electrical protective relays (e.g., Siemens, SEL, GE, and others) based on electrical studies is a plus.- Experience in the mining or cement industry (nice to have).- Experience in the chemical industry or oil and gas sector (nice to have).- Experience in testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning and start up of Medium Voltage Equipment.- Knowledge in Electrical Rooms and Medium Voltage Switchgear in air and SF6 NEMA / ANSI, IEC (NXPLUSC, NXAIR, GMSG, SIMOPRIME, SIMOVAC, 8DJH brand Siemens and other brands).- Knowledge Electrical protective relays (e.g., Siemens, SEL, GE, and others), Motor control centers MCC’s, Electrical panel boards.- Knowledge in Cable sizing and Conduit sizing.- Knowledge in Electrical studies (nice to have), Control cabinet design, Control cabinet electrical schematics, BIM methodology (nice to have).- Development of Electromechanical engineering (aerial, underground cabling, etc.)- Knowledge Grounding System Design, Lightning System Design, Development of cable calculation reports.- Experience using AutoCAD.- Eplan Electric & Pro Panel (nice to have).- AutoCAD Electrical (nice to have).- Solid Edge (nice to have).- Etap (nice to have).- DIGSI (nice to have).- SKM (nice to have).- SICAM (nice to have).- Solid knowledge of international electrical standards (NFPA, UL, NEMA, ANSI,IEC, IEEE, etc.).- Knowledge of Chilean electrical standards RIC (Nice to have).**Location**: Mexico City or Monterrey**Ready to power the future with us?
