Analista Actuarial Sr

This role is responsible for actuarial reserves calculation (dual calculation under MX GAAP and US GAAP), but also is responsible for insurance claims analysis and modelling. For this purpose, the person in charge should be capable for challenging current models and be capable for calibrating them (if any). She/He should be also capable of developing, writing and manage to approve models as required (if any). The person in charge of this position also is responsible for explaining and communicate the results internally to actuarial unit members. Backtesting and reserve sufficiency are also part of reserves calculation. He/She is also responsible for submitting the regulatory reports to CNSF, comply with model risk policy (CNSF and MRM), supervising the accounting and reconciliation process, ensuring that MCA controls are effective and make changes accordingly, among other activities.**Responsibilities**:- Responsible for advising and assessing the performance and profitability of Pensiones business.- Contributes to insurance claims management, loss engineering and risk control.- Ensures alignment of capital management and other reporting metrics.- Ownership for one or more processes, reports, procedures or products, and may also be considered analytical or procedural experts representing a unit or team on cross-function process or project deliverables.- Maintains day-to-day focus on resolution of complex problems or transactions, where expertise is required to interpret against policies, guidelines or processes.- Performs other duties and functions as assigned- Actuarial Reserves. Fully responsible for actuarial reserves valuation for Pensiones business under statutory rules as well as for US GAAP including the new accounting bulletin in respect of LDTI. This activity includes to ensure data quality used for valuation according to CUSF.- Internal and Regulatory Reporting. Responsible for ellaborating regulatory reports RR3, RR8 and supports RR4 process. The person in charge of this position is also responsible for internal reports and simulations for different forums like Risk committee, Executive Committee, and Board of Directors, among others.- Disclosure of dashboards and KPIs, including modeling of economic balance sheet, embedded value, actuarial profit forecast, and deviation of key metrics like interest rate and mortality rate- This position also contributes with the annual process of stress testing (PSD) and have some say over solvency index level and eligible funds assigned- Other Relevant activities. Responsible for the end-to-end process related to Especial Fund for Pensiones. Contributes with the financial planing process providing forecast of reserves, portfolio and other metrics as required. Contributes with relevant internal projects as needed- Ensuring that Notas Técnicas, working manuals, risk and controls, model risk, and other relevant matters are properly managed, updated and properly recorded.- Keeps a robust and reliable internal control framework according with Citibanamex requirements.**Qualifications**:- 5-8 years experience in the Pensiones industry- The person conducting this role need to have sound knowledge and fully understanding of actuarial mathematics, interest theory or finance, statistics, solvency framework, annuities insurance, data management, accounting standards for actuarial reserves, local regulation framework (LISF, CUSF), among others.- Sound fundamentals in local and international regulation, actuarial best practices and accounting principles applicable for Mexican and US- Proactive, team player, strong communication, negotiation, leadership, problem solving, curiosity, business acumen and forward compatible are also some of the key skills required.- Experience with programming codes: R, Julia, Mathlab, Fox Pro, etc.- English as Second Language: Intermediate**Education**:- Bachelor’s/University degree in Actuarial Science (Actuary graduate from a national university or granted by an International Actuary association like SOA or CAS)- A Master’s degree in Actuarial Science or Finance is considered a plus.A fully certification in Pensiones is required (in progress is acceptable)This position is part of our Citibanamex Pensiones business.
