Run what runs the world.This Position reports to:Operations Manager**Your Role: Own the Challenge**In this role, you will act as the technical lead for all engineering activities within assigned projects. You will ensure that all engineering disciplines are executed efficiently and cost-effectively. You will also serve as the design authority for your discipline, overseeing the completion of engineering deliverables.The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-HybridGlobal relocation/LTA support will not be considered for this position.This role is contributing to the Robotics Business Unite in Mexico.**Key Responsibilities**:- Lead, supervise, and coordinate engineering teams (fewer than 10 members), including both in-house and outsourced resources.- Support project installation, commissioning, and site activities by clarifying technical issues and resolving engineering errors.- Guide project engineers and designers in translating conceptual designs into engineering documentation, including modeling, prototyping, and calculations.**What it takes to Run what runs the world**- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably using CATIA, SolidWorks, and/or AutoCAD.- Experience in mechanical manufacturing processes, ideally related to the steel and/or aluminum industry.- Strong communication skills with experience interacting directly with clients and/or suppliers.- Advanced English proficiency is needed.- Willingness to travel.- Experience conducting static and dynamic studies for tool testing is a plus.- Previous experience leading engineering teams is a strong advantage.- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering completed.**We also offer our employees the following benefits**:- Performance Bonus- Saving fund- Paid parental leave- Life insurance- Retirement plan- Health and dental insurance- Wellbeing program- Flex days- Employee Assistance Program (PAE)- Access to development platforms: Spark, Harvard Manager Mentor and English Learning EF English Live School (EF)
