Turner & Townsend and CBRE work together to provide clients with the premier programme, project and cost management offering in markets around the world.Please visit our website: Job Description We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to join our growing Project Management team and lead the delivery of complex data center construction projects in Querétaro, Mexico. This role is ideal for a professional with strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a proven track record in managing mission-critical projects. The Team Leader will coordinate project activities, ensure effective communication, and maintain compliance with governance and quality standards. This position requires a proactive approach to risk management, stakeholder engagement, and team development, while driving exceptional results throughout the project lifecycle. Main Purpose of the Role Lead and coordinate project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes for our clients. Ensure adherence to health & safety, commercial, and risk management standards. Oversee planning, scheduling, and execution of large-scale data center projects. Act as the primary interface with clients and consultants at all project stages. Support business growth by mentoring team members and contributing to new opportunities. Key Accountabilities Define success criteria for projects, including time, cost, and performance parameters. Establish and maintain project governance, processes, and reporting systems. Develop detailed project plans and monitor progress against milestones. Manage procurement strategies and resource allocation. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement. Apply performance management techniques and lead risk workshops. Oversee change control processes and financial tracking. Prepare and present progress reports to clients and senior leadership. Ensure knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team. Qualifications Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field. Minimum 12–14 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Proven experience in data center or mission-critical infrastructure projects . Strong understanding of commissioning processes; LEED experience is a plus. Professional certification (PMP or equivalent) preferred. Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish for client-facing communication. Familiarity with project management tools (MS Project, Primavera P6) and BIM platforms. Exceptional leadership and team management skills. Strong stakeholder engagement and client relationship management. Ability to identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Collaborative mindset and ability to mentor junior team members.
