Me Engineer

**Your Role**:- Follow all plant safety procedures and instructions while performing job duties.- **Review tooling project requirements and develop timelines to meet project milestones with the project team.**:- **Initiate and complete injection molding tooling design changes with advance tooling engineers.**:- **Perform incoming inspection to all arriving tools.**- Responsible of ensuring successful implementation of engineering changes in current tools.- Manage external and internal tooling work, insuring timely completion.- Maintain an efficient system of generating design information and delivering to internal customers.- Develop design templates, library parts and methods to improve design accuracy and efficiency.- Work with tool makers, and designers to evaluate and improve build methods.- Develop and maintain injection molding tool best practices and track/recommend new, innovative technology.- Use knowledge of tool design and tool capability to suggest changes to part designs.- Provides and implement continuous improvement and cost saving ideas.- Responsible for tool disposal process- Notify Management of critical issues in a timely manner.- Analyzing of supplied tooling components cost and quality wise.- Support with any necessary repairs to in-house tools.- **Prepare necessary documentation.**:- **Runs internal tooling improvement projects to improve Quality of finished goods.****Your Background**:**Minimum qualifications**:- **Bachelor Degree in Electromechanical, Mechanical Engineering or Industrial (Eng. Preferred)**:- **Bilingual English - Spanish.**:- **3+ years’ experience leading tool room and die service areas.**- Works in a team environment to ensure efficient operation of tooling and plastic injection processes.- Strong tool knowledge and mechanical ability.- Ability for set ups in plastic injection equipment - process.- Experience in various forms of automated equipment, material handling devices and plastic injection equipment.- Instruct and guide employees in lower skill classifications in a variety of operations in plastic injection environment.- Ability to manage people and follow performance indicators.- Computer skills: CAD, Outlook,, Microsoft office.- CAD proficient: Unix, Catia, Solid works, Auto Cad, Mold flow.- The position is full time, based in Juarez, will require some travel to USA / Asia.**Preferred qualifications**:- Strong knowledge in tool room equipment & manufacturing processes.- Injection molding machine, peripheral equipment Thermoregulator, dryer, robot maintenance & debug knowledge.- Strong knowledge on thermoplastics properties of resins (Nylon, Polypropylene, Polycarbonate, PBT)..- **Strong experience in Injection molding equipment and plastics molding processes, Hydraulic and electric machines from 90 tons up to 700 tons: Engel, Battenfeld.**:- **Ability to lead process technicians in area of responsibility, communicate and work closely with engineers in other departments to solve problems and continuously improve processes, reduce scrap and improve cycle times of equipment related to tool performance.****Aptiv Rewards & Advantages**:- Interesting career in a leading, world-recognized company;- Opportunity to professional growth and personal development in an international environment- Ability to implement own ideas and solutions**Some see differences.
