The Senior Associate will be responsible for assisting this Senior Director in all areas of executive operations and coordinate communications and initiatives across countries. To achieve this s/he will coordinate closely with the countries’ staff within the region, other regional directors and global counterparts and departments.**Responsibilities**:- The Rainforest Alliance’s Core Values are Impact, Change, Collaboration, Openness and Trust and as such they form the basis of the behaviors we demonstrate;- S/he will be responsible for assisting the Senior Director, Mesoamerica in all areas of executive activities, coordinate internal communications and reporting across the countries within the region and other parties of the organization, as needed;- Contribute to overall team success by tracking status of action points and ensuring follow up with responsible staff;- Manage projects that require inputs and coordination from across the region and the wider organization;- Signal achievements, challenges and opportunities for improvement and efficiencies across the region to the Senior Director, Mesoamerica with a thorough understanding of priorities and activities and by liaising effectively with country and regional staff;- In collaboration with Country Directors, ME Manager and IR Manager, ensure the existing online active grant list is up to date and relevant grant information is readily available;- Coordinate aspects of key internal and external meeting preparation, including communications with relevant participants, logistics, agendas and materials preparation, as well as meeting minutes, actions follow-up, tracking reports and associated correspondence;- Assist in developing internal and external Mesoamerica presentations, and maintaining an inventory of existing presentation materials;- Coordinate preparation, execution and follow-up actions of in-person departmental planning strategic workshops, and periodic meetings (i.e. biweekly management calls, portafolio reviews, etc). This includes workshop facilitation and documenting/disseminating outcomes to relevant stakeholders and on RA’s intranet;- Conduct targeted research and outreach on key trends and issues, monitor results of strategic multi-stakeholder platforms, and share insights;- Develop and co-ordinate programmatic processes including: internal reporting, standardizing indicator collection across the region, technical quality control revisions, and knowledge-sharing;- Prioritize confl
