Your responsibilities will include This role will lead the Steel, Metal Stamping and Metal Components commodities and will make sure Acquire the suppliers meet the highest standards of product quality. The Senior Supplier Quality Engineer acts Rugby technical expert leader in metalworking processes and an agent of change to drive continuous improvement across the supply chain. Serves as the initial quality contact responsible for executing APQP requirements for Low Risk NPI parts, ensuring a Safe Launch Responsible for monitoring bass and improving monthly supplier performance at the plant by driving supplier systemic improvements and implementation of global tools and processes (8Ds including WCM problem solving metodology). Works with suppliers to develop robust manufacturing processes using qualification tools (PFMEA, Control Plan, Process Map, etc.) while using Opex Six Sigma tools. The role is responsible for short-term issue resolution enabling long-term solutions, managing Audits at the Supplier process and developing TCQ projects. Responsible for First Pass Yield ensuring Business Continuity and PPAPs On Time. Engineering Degree (Materials) Project Management - Major Project Launches OPEX Sig Sigma Black Belt certified or trained PFMEA, Control Plan, Process Flow Diagram (PPAPverity) Experience in Steel, Metal Stamping and Metal Components Industry.
