**Responsibilities**:- Coordinates activities of the project team, identifies necessary resources and develops schedules to meet completion deadlines.- Verifies project team adherence to control and risk implementations as well as standards and process changes.- Determines scope and impact of project risks and issues; raises and resolves issues.- Applies good understanding of concepts and procedures within own IT project leadership area to resolve issues.- Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of how areas of IT project leadership collectively integrate to contribute to achieving business goals.- Provides evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual information in complicated and unique situations.- Directly impacts the IT project leadership area through shared responsibility for delivery of end results and contribution to planning, budget management and formulation of procedures; influences resource planning.- Persuades and influences others through communication and diplomacy skills; may negotiate with external parties.**Qualifications**:- 5-8 years experience in an IT project leadership role with commensurate people management experience.**Education**:- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experienceThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed. Other job-related duties may be assigned as required.**Required Skills**:- ** Technical Skills**:- A solid understanding of software development methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.- Familiarity with agile project management tools, such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.- Basic understanding of software development technologies and architectures.- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.- ** Soft Skills**:- Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills.- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.- Ability to influence and lead without direct authority.- A passion for continuous learning and improvement.- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.- ** Experience and Certifications**:- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification.- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment.- Experience working with distributed teams and stakeholders.- Experience in the financial services industry, particularly with supplier finance programs, is a plus.**Responsibilities**- ** Facilitation and Coaching**:- Facilitate Scrum events, including sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives, ensuring they are productive and efficient.- Coach the development team on agile principles and practices, helping them to become self-organizing and high-performing.- Guide the team in effective backlog management and sprint planning, ensuring alignment with product goals and priorities.- ** Impediment Removal**:- Identify and remove impediments that hinder the team's progress, escalating issues to appropriate channels when necessary.- Work with the team and stakeholders to resolve conflicts and promote collaboration.- Ensure a smooth and efficient workflow, minimizing disruptions and maximizing productivity.- ** Collaboration and Communication**:- Foster a collaborative and transparent environment, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing.- Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure the product backlog is well-defined, prioritized, and understood by the team.- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations.- ** Process Improvement**:- Continuously evaluate and improve the team's processes and practices, identifying areas for optimization.- Promote the adoption of agile best practices and industry standards.- Facilitate discussions and experiments to identify and implement innovative solutions.- ** Metrics and Reporting**:- Track and report on team performance metrics, such as sprint velocity, burndown rates, and defect density.- Use data to identify trends and areas for improvement.- Provide regular reports to stakeholders on project progress and team performance.**Job Family Group**:Technology- **Job Family**:Technology Project Management- **Time Type**:Full time- **Most Relevant Skills**Please see the requirements listed above.- **Other Relevant Skills**For complementary skills, please see above and/or contact the recruiter.-- View Citi’s _EEO Policy Statement_ and the _Know Your Rights_ poster._
