This is a fantastic opportunity to join a category-defining engineering practice at a well-funded and rapidly-growing startup.**Day To Day**- Own all aspects of the development lifecycle, including technical analysis, architecture, design, programming, deployment, and maintenance.- Convert Figma files into fully functioning eCommerce features.- Follow style guides with a keen sense of design, typography, branding, and attention to detail.- Optimize code for reusability, maximum speed, and scalability.- Develop code standards to ensure consistency across ecommerce experience.- Manage and maintain code base, including troubleshooting errors or bugs.- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders on sprint planning and retros.- Support thorough QA testing including cross-browser/platform compatibility with a design point of view in mind.- Continually optimize the way that we work by following — and refining — best practices.- Enforce Branch values, aesthetic, and quality standards across our website.**What We’re Looking For**- 2-4 years of experience as a front-end or full-stack developer within the Shopify Plus ecosystem- Proficient in modern HTML5+, CSS3+ (SCSS), JavaScript ES6+- Experience with one or more modern JS Frameworks/Library (React, Vue)- Knowledge of version control and Git flows- Experience working with third-party APIs- Ability to create strong responsive front end layouts with thoughtful interaction- Demonstrated experience with web performance best practices- Superlative attention to detail, from nailing responsive design to commenting code- Clear writing and verbal communication- Available for work in the North American EST time zone—remote ok**Bonus Points**- Experience with back-end technologies and building private apps within the Shopify ecosystem- An interest in mobile app development- Experience with a fast-growing eCommerce startup or premier agency- Passion for visual and interaction design- A love for furniture, productivity or the built environmentBranch is proud to be an equal opportunity employer that celebrates individuality and uniqueness.
