**Miguel Hidalgo, CDMX** | **On-site** | **Bilingual (English-Spanish)**We are seeking an experienced **Senior Tax Manager** to join a leading company in the **energy sector**. This is a strategic and hands-on role for a solid professional with extensive expertise in tax and accounting matters, who can ensure compliance, optimize tax strategies, and provide reliable financial leadership in a complex, fast-paced environment.**Key Responsibilities**- Lead and oversee all **tax operations** (federal, state, and local), including planning, compliance, reporting, and audits.- Develop and implement **tax strategies** to optimize the company’s fiscal position while ensuring full legal compliance.- Supervise and review the preparation of **monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns**, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.- Provide technical guidance on **IFRS and Mexican GAAP**, supporting correct accounting treatment of tax matters.- Advise management on tax implications of business decisions, mergers, acquisitions, and new projects.- Act as the main point of contact with **SAT and external auditors**, managing inspections and resolving complex tax issues.- Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the company’s operations.- Collaborate closely with **Finance, Legal, and Operations teams** to ensure tax alignment with business goals.- Lead and mentor the tax and accounting team, fostering continuous development and a culture of excellence.**Requirements**:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree or tax specialization is a plus.- **10+ years of progressive experience** in tax and accounting, ideally within the **energy, infrastructure, or industrial sectors**.- Proven experience leading tax strategy and compliance in complex organizations.- Strong knowledge of **Mexican tax regulations**, IFRS, and fiscal reporting standards.- Previous experience managing audits and liaising with tax authorities.- Exceptional analytical skills and business acumen, with the ability to provide strategic insights.- **Bilingual - fluent English and Spanish** (oral and written).- Availability to work **on-site** in Miguel Hidalgo, CDMX.We are committed to creating an inclusive and diverse workplace.
