Quality Manager - WD ***What will you do?Directs the overall Quality strategy and implementation to ensure technical specifications, product reliability, and internal and external expectations comply with relevant standards, regulations, and licenses for USA-MX.How will you do it?1. Manages the relationship between cost reduction, quality and exemplary customer satisfaction.2. Identifies areas along the production process causing defects to minimize future costs associatedwith handling warranty claims.3. Helps develop long-term production strategies and practices to improve production quality andminimize warranty claims.4. Incorporates best-business practices to improve efficiencies and meet customer needs..5. Develops new processes, standards or operational plans in support of the organization's short-termbusiness/functional strategies, with a direct impact on business/function overall results6. Maintains product quality by enforcing quality assurance policies and procedures and governmentrequirements: collaborating with other members of management to develop new product andengineering designs and manufacturing and training methods.7. Maintains quality assurance staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees;planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.8. Achieves financial objectives by preparing the quality assurance budget; scheduling expenditures;analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.9. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.10. Other duties may be assigned11. EHS Commitee Lead12. Member of Safety observation program13. Participate in EHS or Workshops14. Involve EHS seminars or Workshops15. Together with the management comitee defines and reviews the (s) security policy, health andenviroment.16. Together with the management committee establishes and environmental objectives and targetsSafety an Health.17. Together with de management committee conducted the review of the EHS Management system.**Qualifications**What we look for?Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent combined education and experience; Master’s Degree preferred.A minimum of eight years related experience.Strong interpersonal skills and decision-making ability.People Management, Analyzing Information, Reporting Research Results, Technical Understanding, Promoting Process Improvement, Developing Standards, Managing Processes, Manufacturing Methods and Procedures, Dealing with Complexity, Problem Solving, Process Improvement.Effective and professional communication and organization skills.Fully Bilingual (English-Spanish).**Job** Quality & Continuous Improvement**Primary Location**MX-Tamaulipas-Reynosa**Organization** Bldg Technologies & Solutions
