The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.**Role Purpose**:The Tooling Technician provides excellent support to the Tooling area, repairing high tolerance molds, provide solutions to repair molds by himself, decision making.**Key Responsibilities**:- Corrective Mold Maintenance- High Tolerance Mold Repair- Mold Construction (Cavities, Cores, Inserts, etc.)- Mold preventive maintenance- EC Implementation- Mold Insert Change- New Mold Check list- Electrical and Hydraulic mold maintenance- Electrical and Hydraulic mold repair- Handling of precision tools**Experiences/Education - Desired**:- Technical Degree**Corning Puts YOU First**We are committed to supporting your health, financial, career development, and life goals as you grow professionally and personally to achieve your highest potential.
