We aim to be where the growth is, enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper, and, ultimately, helping people to fulfil their hopes and realise their ambitions.We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of **Control Testing Manager**Principal accountabilities:- Plan and lead fieldwork of control testing reviews to ensure timely delivery of the DBS CCO Control Testing plan whilst minimising disruption to management.- Oversee team of professional control testers to ensure work delivered is of required quality and meets all internal and external standards- Assess the design and operational effectiveness of Key Indicators (KCIs, KPIs, KRIs) and Controls across HSBC Operations and DCOO functions (such as Strategic Procurement Services, Corporate Services)- Work closely with key stakeholders (e.g. Control Owners, CCOs, etc.) to agree control testing outcomes and assist with establishing remediation plansRequirements- Graduate/Post graduate in any discipline with strong academic background- Demonstrable knowledge in control testing and risk management, internal control, or internal audit preferably within a financial / banking services operations environmentExperience- Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience in control, SOX Controls testing, Internal Audit, Internal Controls and Risk assessment. Experience in Financial Service industry or an external audit firm is desirable.- Audit qualifications (CIA or equivalent) are desirable- Proven project / process management experience- Innovative and able to assess needs and propose solutions- Advanced English- Technologies approach are desirableAt HSBC we offer our colleagues a greater number of days, so that they can fully enjoy their wedding, take care of the new member of the family, or grieve the loss of a family member.
