**Data Engineer****Location**: Mexico City (Hybrid model: 3 days in office)**Type of position**: Full-time**About the company****What will this person do?**The company is looking for a **Data Engineer** with strong critical thinking and technical skills to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions that directly impact financial decision-making.**Responsibilities**- Design and maintain scalable data pipelines (ETL) using Python (Spark) and SQL.- Develop data flows on Microsoft Fabric in the cloud (mainly Azure).- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the transformation process.- Translate business logic into functional data solutions for internal teams.- Collaborate closely with Technology and Strategic Finance teams.- Propose efficient and secure data architectures.- Evaluate new tools and technologies for integration into the data stack.**Requirements**:- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or Backend Developer with a strong data focus.- Proficiency in Python (especially for ETL using Spark) and advanced SQL.- Proven experience with Microsoft Fabric (or similar platforms such as AWS Glue or GCP Dataflow).- Knowledge of data architecture design.- Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases.- Cloud experience (Azure preferred; AWS or GCP also considered).- Strong analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.- Advanced English and Spanish (interview will be conducted in English).- High level of professionalism, ethics, and sense of responsibility.**What’s offered**- High-performance culture with mínimal hierarchy and a results-oriented mindset.- Hybrid work model with high autonomy.- Unlimited vacation.- Ongoing access to top-tier technical and financial mentors.- Clear path for professional growth.- Diverse and authentic environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per monthApplication Question(s):- What is your level of English?- How many years of experience do you have?- Have you worked with Microsoft Fabric or any other cloud data platform like AWS Glue or GCP Dataflow?
