The Functionary partners with retailers, OEMs, and distributors to provide support solutions to customers needing help with customer support, e-commerce operations, setup, connectivity, Internet of Things (IoT) devices, and cloud services. The Functionary has handled over 5 million support requests, delivering market-leading customer satisfaction scores, to empower customers to get the help they need when they need it.**Responsibilities**:- Respond to inbound calls for order placement- Upsell and cross-sell additional items- Answer inquiries via phone while maintaining and updating the customer database- Maintain a sense of urgency in responding to the customer needs- Be creative and go above and beyond when assisting our customers- Accurate and efficient order entry and maintenance of customer files- Ask probing questions and overcome objectionsMandatory requirements- High School Diploma or equivalent- 6 months of Customer Service experience (in person or over the phone)- Pleasant and professional telephone etiquette- Problem-solving skills- Strong verbal and written communications skills- PC literate and basic typing skills (at least 30 wpm)- Internet Access (hard-wired connection, not Wi-Fi or Hotspots)- Quiet work area devoid of distractions- Must be able to communicate with coworkers and customers daily by phone or in-personDesirable requirements- Dependable- Ability to consistently follow-through- Positive attitude- Self-motivated and ability to work effectively without constant supervision- Team-oriented and able to work collaboratively- Effective communication and verbal skills- Flexible and adaptableWe offer- International work environment- Full-time, long-term, contractor role.- Growth opportunities within a staffing, multinational company- Work from home**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract**Salary**: $12,500.00 - $15,000.00 per monthCOVID-19 considerations:This is a work-from-home position.
