The Sofia Unfiltered podcast is our platform to highlight the journeys, insights, and expertise of health and wellness professionals, amplifying their stories to inspire and educate a broader audience.**Job Overview**:We are seeking a highly organized Podcast Production Assistant to work Full-time exclusively in English, providing administrative support across the pre-production, production, and post-production stages of the _Sofia Unfiltered_ podcast. This role also involves creating promotional and engagement content—including social media posts, web pages, blogs, and newsletters—to connect with and promote the podcast.**Responsibilities**:**Pre-Production**:- Identify, invite, and coordinate interviews with a variety of podcast guests.- Manage a guest database, ensuring the data is up-to-date and organized.- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for pre-production, production, post-production, and social media promotion activities.- Conduct research for episodes, occasionally preparing scripts and discussion topics.- Maintain a consistent flow of high-quality content.- Ensure the quality of recordings, including scheduling coordination and preparation of relevant documentation.**Post-Production**:- Manage the content submission process for editing, working closely with our audio/video editing team.- Conduct a rigorous quality control review before publishing episodes on various podcast platforms.- Extract and promote content in the form of engaging clips.- Stay up-to-date on trends and best practices in the podcasting industry.- Develop social media strategies to maximize reach on platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and YouTube.**Requirements**:- At least 1-2 years of proven experience in podcast production and digital media.- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.- Impeccable verbal and written communication skills in English.- Previous experience with audio/video editing tools is a plus.- Familiarity with major podcast platforms is desirable.- Creative mindset and a continuous desire for learning and growth in the field.**We Offer**:- Flexible working hours. (PT - Pacific Time zone)- Remote work.- Pay starts at $500 - $650/month.- Employment classification: Independent Contractor.- Growth Opportunities within the company.All hires begin with a short trial period during which the individual's competence, aptitude, and experience will be assessed.
