Esh Specialist

Your tasks- Developing a BA ESH contribution in alignment with CT ESH and BA Operations as part of the CT strategy- Identifying and evaluating potential ESH risks an opportunities associated with the business area's operations and developing plans to mitigate risks and use opportunities.- Analysing ESH management and system performance of BA and concluding on improvement potentials / internal communication- Safeguarding and improving the BA ESH Management System according ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and other applicable standards, incl. House of Rules, CT Rules with support by CT ESH- Developing and implementing ESH policies and procedures that are aligned with the business area's goals and objectives and meet regulatory requirements.- Managing certification and auditing processes according House of Rules, CT Rules, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and other ESH-related standards, in alignment with CT ESH certifying strategy- Coordinating ESH related audits in BA according applicable requirements- Informing BA Management and CT ESH about ESH-relevant changes, updates, requirements - case-related (if needed) and regularly in adaquate and agreed fequencies and format- Direct reporting (chain of command) to BA Operation- BA-related reporting to authorities- Benchmarking ESH Performance, Methods and Systems and identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation- Improving and mainaining the ESH Managment Systems in BA- According to partitioned BA ESH responsibility: Obtaining competence on relevant ESH aspects & Developing competence in BA's ESH Management network, especially as functional superior for local ESH managers- Ensuring awareness about ESH-related applicable legal requirements and obligations within BA and BA-related entities, which include regulatory requirements, local legal requirements, binding international standards- Ensuring identification of applicable requirements and obligations and ensuring awareness in BA on applicable international legal requirements and obligations on ESH / communication to relevant stakeholders, e.g. sustainability management- Ensuring compliance to legal requirements and obligations in BA-related legal entities, including assigned delegated entrepreneurial duties according to organization responsibility- Verifying compliance to applicable requirements and obligatons by implementing effective monitoring methods and processes- Initiating corrective actions, incl. case related risk assessment- According to partitioned BA ESH reponsibility:- Managing and supporting ESH improvement projects and programs / incl. support on demand (task force)- Ensuring follow-up and monitoring of action performance, in case of accidents and unintentional incidents to ensure containment, continual improvement and sharing of experience**Profile**:Education& Certification:'- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as environmental science, safety management, occupational health, or a related engineering field- Professional occupational health & safety qualification, such as SiFa (Germany) or CSHO (USA) recommended- Proven knowledge and awareness about applicable ESH-related legislation, standards and acts which are essentially required in BA-specific business and operations, e.g. safety requirements by DGUV (Germany) or OSHA (USA)- Auditor qualification according ISO 19011 on ISO 45001 (Occupational Heath & Safety) and/or ISO 14001 (Environment)- Qualification(s) for methodical skills for problem solving and incident handling (e.g. tap root champion) recommendedProfessional Experience:'- At least three years of experience working in ESH-related roles, such as ESH specialist, ESH engineer, or ESH coordinator. This experience should include developing and implementing ESH policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments, and managing incidents.- Experience working in the industry or industries in which the BA operates. This experience can include knowledge of the equipment and processes used in the industry, as well as the ESH regulations and standards that apply.- Experience ensuring compliance with ESH regulations and standards, including conducting audits and inspections and responding to regulatory inquiries; including awareness about and practical experiences with regulatory requirements and related processes in one or more counties of BA's site(s)- Experience in ESH-related audit management as qualified auditor- Advanced level of english ( Interviews will be in english )Project & Process Experience:'- Managing ESH-related projects, such as developing and implementing ESH programs, conducting risk assessments, or managing incident responseLeadership Experience'- Experience leading ESH-related initiatives and working with cross-functional teams to achieve ESH-related goals- Experience ensuring compliance with ESH regulations and standards, including conducting audits and inspections and responding to regulatory inquiriesIntercultural/Intern
