Finance Product Control Senior Analyst

The Prod Ctrl Sr. Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for ensuring the completeness, accuracy and integrity of the bank's books and records in coordination with the Finance team. The overall objective of this role is to control and support data integrity and general ledger reconciliation, profit attribution and new activity analysis, valuation control and product P&L and balance sheet reporting.**Responsibilities**:- Evaluate moderately complex issues utilizing data, and select the best action between potentially conflicting situations- Analyze data by filtering, prioritizing, and validating moderately complex information from multiple sources- Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.- Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.- Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.**Qualifications**:- 5-8 years of relevant experience- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication**Education**:- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experienceResponsibilities Include:- Role provides opportunity to influence the critical control initiatives and financial reporting, inclusive of, but not limited to:Internal Audit Coordination: Work with Valuation Control Group and Product Control Group to assess control effectiveness via targeted reviews to identify any control gaps, areas for enhancement. Support finance partners in all interactions with Internal and External Audit, included but not limited to regular exams as established in annual plan, Business Monitoring, or Extended Monitoring efforts where PC is required. Help the teams to identify areas for improvement and support them during the resolution.Issue Management: Support and coordination for Creation, Remediation, Change management, Monitoring,Reporting and Escalation of issues throughout the issue lifecycle. Includes working with teams outside of PC on actions owned. Perform conformance testing for issues coming due to ensure successful closure of corrective actions and issues.Regulatory Engagement: Preparation of meeting packs for the regular meetings, confirm the content of the pack with the Asset Classes and incorporate any updates, changes. Prepare meeting minutes.
