**Programmer/Analyst 3****Education**:- BS degree in Computer science, Electrical engineering or equivalent.**Experience**:- Minimum 5 year related experience with the server and/or storage system- Solid HW and SW diagnostics skills- Software development experience - preferably in Python/Bash.- Experience with the LAMP stack (Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP).- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to interpret complex data, trends, and customer feedback to inform product decisions.- Experience in direct support for server product manufacturing and testing.- Strong communication skills in both technical and business setting, written and verbal- Strong initiative and ability to work in a self-directed environment**Knowledge****Skills**:- Programming skills based on Linux scripting (Bash, Python, PHP)- Hardware/component and software debugging skills- Proficient English Language (all sites)**Responsibilities**:- Identify and analyze the root cause of system failures, isolating specific components or failure nodes to implement effective solutions for internal/external customer- Provide prompt responses to critical system failures, devising remedies for catastrophic events as needed.- Develop and support automated product test suites and test teams for VES’s domestic and international manufacturing sites, increasing efficiency in testing processes- Develop test software to functionally verify PCBA and System level products, control switches, PDUs and measurement devices for new product development & product sustaining.- Build and maintain Linux servers and network infrastructure.- Support new product introductions through comprehensive test strategies for PCBA, Systems and Burn-In testing.- Work with cross-functional teams, including, Engineering, Product Managers, Sales and IT team on assigned projects
