General Summary
Job Family Summary: Operate machines, maintain quality levels that will meet or exceed internal and external customer expectations. Meet SMT goals; feedback on time to Supervisor regarding equipment and/or process failures. Comply with the ISO process documentation and procedures. The scope of this role requires the incumbent to provide administrative or technical support at a senior level and is gaining or has attained full proficiency in their specific area of discipline.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Knowledge in all ISO 9000 procedures, required to support his/her activities
- Operation of all equipment related to SMT such as Solder Paste Printers, Pick and place machines, Ovens, Through Hole machines, AOI’s, Solder mask machines, Solder paste height machine, Stencil cleaners
- Proper handling of Feeder cassettes and sensitive components to humidity
- Follow up all SMT metrics (SPC, SMT Placement rate, OEE, OTD)
- Team work and suggestions implementations
- Assist engineers, programmers, and technicians to solve process problems
- Maintain high quality levels (Meet PPMS goals)
- Take and control profiles for the manufacturing process
- Proper handling of solder paste Lead and Lead Free
- Follow up all SMT processes, procedures, and work instructions
